so what now?
Translations available in: English (original) | French | Spanish | Italian | German | Portuguese | Swedish | Russian | Dutch | Arabic

So did you ever wonder what we are supposed to blog about now? Well I am sure stumped. Sure, I was fine with writing blogs before we had to post the five for our culminating, but now that they are done, blogs seem almost pointless. I decided I had to pick a topic and research it, so it would be like posting the blogs during the last week, but then I decided that writing about this was better. today I am going to try and post a very long blog, and just rant about things having to do with what I just mentioned, then see where they lead me, then talk about where they lead me. I might not talk about any of these things, as i am unpredictable that way. So yes, when people do a simple task for a long time, they tend to get used to it, and then if the task is upgraded, it gets more interesting, which makes it very hard for people to go back to the original task again. There are some cases where the original task is preferred, such as watching television=watching television while doing jumping jacks. The difference is that one requires work while the other one only adds interest. This is the key to people's lives. Someone will also be motivated if you put a special reward at the end of the harder task, but only one that is appealing and available right away. An example would be food or money, but it is quite hard to figure out how somebody could give you money every time you do a push up, or even a series of push ups. This is where people have to get creative, but instead most people just go back to sitting while watching TV. Easier on their neck anyway. This is giving up; it is lazy and i really don't suggest it. I feel like now I am writing some sort of guide on how to stay fit while watching TV or something, but I'm not. I'm just being lazy and not changing the subject. It's not like the title doesn't allow me to. It is sure a vague title. The most vague title I ever saw was a title to which I cant remember the title of, possibly because it was so vague.

Now is a very momentous occasion because, for the first time ever, I put more than one paragraph in one blog post. This was a major accomplishment to say the least, and it took many years of planning. People donated so much money so this extra paragraph could be here today. I would like to thank windows, God, IGM, and view sonic. That was sarcasm. I hate this font box because It doesn't show how big or small what you are typing really is.

see for yourself. I dare you to. Click the link.If it doesn't show up as a link, copy it into your browser bar: smouch.net/lol/ trust me it it is totlly worth it

Human Rights-4
Related to country: Canada

Translations available in: English (original) | French | Spanish | Italian | German | Portuguese | Swedish | Russian | Dutch | Arabic

Today, I'm doing two blogs. This, of course, is my first one. I looked at the site for the Canadian Human rights Commision (See bottom of blog)

The Canadian Human Rights Commision administers both the Employment Equity act and the human rights act.

the Human rights act ensures that the people of Canada all are given rights and freedoms, which are all standard, meaning no one has more or less rights than anyone else. They all are also up to the UN's code, and some rights we have are not even included! It is great to live in a country so free as ours, where one does not have to live in a cruel woprld with violence and murder being given from the governement.

Second was the Employment Equity act, which basicly talked about people of different genders getting the same pay for the same work etc.

I think that this site definatly has a purpose, as it is actually made by the people who give us our rights (our Governement)And it is there so that we keep the right to information. Go Canada!

human rights-3
Translations available in: English (original) | French | Spanish | Italian | German | Portuguese | Swedish | Russian | Dutch | Arabic

I chose to go to the Human rights watch for this blog entry... and so I did. I read about them and they are a little better than the other website, but they still don't really "Do" anything, as they are mostly a news-based website. Their platform on Human rights is one that I agree with, however, and They seem to e doing an OK job. They talked (On the front page) about a women who defended rights for people and was "Brutally slain" which outrages me so much that I might burst. I hate people who do things like that to good meaning people with dreams, families... especially one who defends human rights. The world we live in is so corrupt, so deformed, that I can't recognize the wonder and beauty I did when I was a child. People have taken the life out of this planet and we need to see it come back. I hate how things like these happened. Poor woman. I am in shock over this, btw. (Not literally, I am fine) but holy cow, what is humanity's freaking problem?!?! I earn for a day where A**h***s like this cease to exist

Anyways, sorry to rant on and on, but you have to see what I mean! I think you should all check it out, the bibliography is right here:

HUMAN RIGHTS-2

[About HRI | Human Rights Internet." About Human Rights Internet | Human Rights Internet. 14 July 2009 <http://www.hri.ca/about.aspx]

HRI is an organization that promotes human rights, both those on the charter and the ones that they believe should exist. They are a professional group that states their platforms in a really sound way. I think that they are kind of overrated because they just do what UN does. I think that instead of forming an insignificant group, you should instead join the UN.

Uh oh!
Translations available in: English (original) | French | Spanish | Italian | German | Portuguese | Swedish | Russian | Dutch | Arabic

I seem to have found a problem. It is this: I created my video project, and it was really great. Unfortunately, I have no memory stick, the school blocks email sites and I don't know Mr Kemp's email!!!!!! Here is my cool solution:

1. Email scott.kemp@wrdsb.ca and hope it is right.

2. Save the file on an online file hosting website.

3. Email the project to my mom so if all else fails I can find out Mr Kemp's email, call her, and have her send it to him on my behalf.

4. Scream really loudly, and hope that that somehow sends it onto my school account.

My project, by the way, is amazing. It is a work of art. The best part is how i got to lazy to use video editing software so I used PowerPoint. Just so I don't accidentally give anything away, and because I'm pressed for time I am going to get off now. Bye!!!

PS just after i posted this I found a place where I can put files for class. I used that. Thank God for this website!!
